South Downs Hack
Come and join us for welcome relief from the stresses of life by riding out through the South Downs National Park with a small group of other riders who all need to be comfortable cantering in open spaces.
The pace of the ride will be dependent on the ground conditions and the ability of the least able rider attending.
Times : Wednesdays at 10 a.m. for 1.5 to 2 hours
Cost : Members £40 Non-Members £50 Liveries FOC (providing other fee-paying riders attend)

Riding Club mornings – dedicated to producing specific horsemanship skills through an enjoyable, informative and structured training programme consisting of two successive sessions with Amanda Kruger BHSI.

Fun & Fitness Coffee Morning
Fun & fitness on horses, with a social coffee thrown in! A popular morning with our adult riders, join us for two hours of pleasure and relaxation. One hour of riding and the other to take care of your horse, enjoy a coffee and chat with your fellow riders.

Livery Pony Club Rally
Our monthly Pony Club Rally specifically for our child livery owners. All Livery Pony Club Rallies are overseen by our Chief Instructor, Amanda Kruger BHSI and will involve one hour of riding and one hour of stable management in either order.
Times will be around midday and will be advised closer to the date.

Mock hunt for liveries
Our mock hunts put real fun into horse riding across the South Downs National Park, and are open for all of our liveries, regardless of age, to come and join in!
You’ll be hunting our rather intrepid “foxes”, marathon running mums Mel de Lacey and Anne Stonefrost, who will lay a cunning trail for the hounds (that’s our liveries) to follow.

Own your own Pony for a Day
Pony owning days for children : Have your favourite pony all to yourself for the day to ride and care for. With two different types of riding sessions, learn all about how to look after your pony which will include feeding, grooming, tacking-up and lots of other things you need to know to keep your pony well and happy.
Times : We offer both a morning session, 10 am – 1 pm and a full day 10 am – 4 pm.
Costs : Members £30 Non members £40 half day; Members £55 Non members £65 full day

Picnic Pony Ride
Our Picnic Ride is brilliant fun for children.
Choose your favorite pony, bring a packed lunch and come and join a group of friends to ride out into the South Downs National Park. We will stop off for a picnic at lunch-time.
Children will be getting their ponies ready before the ride and taking care of them afterwards. Riders will be on or off the lead rein, depending upon ability so we cater for all!

Pony Club Show Jumping Competition
Pony Club Show Jumping Competition : From the classes below please select two which will be one of the Clear Rounds and one of the numbered classes. Please state which classes you are entering at the time of reservation.
This is the third qualifier of three for the 2013 Centre League Series which is awarded by the Pony Club head office.
- Clear Round A 1’6” to 1’9” (may be led)
- Clear Round B 2’0” to 2’3”
- Clear Round C 2’6” to 2’9”
Every clear round will be awarded a rosette
- Class 1 1’6” to 1’9” (may be led)
- Class 2 2’0” to 2’3”
- Class 3 2’6” to 2’9”
Every clear round will then ride a jump-off against the clock
Parents are welcome to come and watch. The ponies are available from 8 a.m. to get ready for the competition. Refreshments available and a photographer will also be present.

BHS Stage 1 Riding, Horse Knowledge & Care
The first of two courses of structured training carried out by Amanda Kruger BHSI covering the relevant British Horse Society Stage syllabi over a two day period. Both include stable management and riding on the flat, plus jumping with Stage 2. These courses do not include the examination.
A detailed programme will be supplied to all attending.
Times : Wednesday & Thursday 9.30 am — 3.30 pm
